Trains that run through the Severn Tunnel between Bristol and South Wales will be impacted by Network Rail track upgrades this month.

Great Western Railway is providing additional trains for music fans heading home after next week’s Coldplay concerts at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

Strike action will affect services at GWR and other train operators across the country on Wednesday 31 May, Friday 2 June and Saturday 3 June. In addition, action short of a strike on Thursday 1 June is likely to cause some short-notice alterations or cancellations.

GWR has responded to changes in passenger travel patterns in the Thames Valley, with the biggest shake-up to railway timetables since the introduction of Intercity Express Trains, bringing greater connectivity to Elizabeth line destinations.

GWR has responded to changes in passenger travel patterns in Dorset and made changes to their Heart of Wessex route from Castle Cary to Weymouth, adding additional services to bring the line up to a regular two hourly service during the week.
