Special train to celebrate Malvern Festival of Innovation
First Great Western is to brand a special train in support of the Malvern Festival of Innovation, an event celebrating the wealth of creative and enterprising talent in the area.
First Great Western is to brand a special train in support of the Malvern Festival of Innovation, an event celebrating the wealth of creative and enterprising talent in the area.
The second annual Malvern Festival of Innovation will take place at Malvern Theatres and Malvern College between Thursday and Saturday 7 to 8 November.
Carrying passengers to the festival, The Innovation Express will leave London Paddington on Thursday 7 November and Friday 8 November at 0648, calling at Slough (0704), Reading (0721), Oxford (0804), and Worcester Foregate Street (0919) to arrive in Great Malvern at 09:33 in time for the Plenaries.
On Saturday 9 November, The Innovation Express will depart London Paddington at 0721, calling at Slough (07:38) Slough, Reading (0754), Oxford (0823) and Worcester Foregate Street (0944) to arrive in Great Malvern at 10:00 in time for the Family Show.

The festival aims to help cutting edge companies showcase their products and services and offer a platform for firms that champion innovation.
Several high profile keynote speakers will appear, including Graeme Hackland of the Lotus Formula One team. New editions for this year’s festival include a school fringe event and a dedicated family show featuring TV presenters Prof Mark Miodownik and Dr Jonathan Hare.
