Media invite: Have you seen this? Come on board the Night Riviera sleeper train
Great Western Railway is to hold an open day for people to come and have a look at its internationally renowned Night Riviera Sleeper service this Thursday.
Where: Penzance Station
When: Thursday 21 March, 1030 - 1330
You don’t know what you are missing if you have never been on board the Night Riviera Sleeper.
Upgrade works to signals in Cornwall by Network Rail has meant that the Night Riviera has not been able to run to its' full, usual timetable. That work is now nearing completion and the full Sleeper timetable is expected to restart from this Friday 22 March.
To mark the restart, customers and local leaders are invited to come and have a look at the sleeper facilities, including a tour of the berths, the onboard sleeper lounge car and our sleeper lounge with showers.
The sleeper will be on the platform from 1030 to 1330, and will be open for general viewing from 1100.
PLease RSVP with any requirements for the visit. See on board the service now in this short video.
