First Great Western is warning customers to check before they travel to this weekend’s One Direction and Manic Street Preachers concerts in Cardiff, as Network Rail engineering work may affect fans’ journey home.

Concert-goers are being warned that the number of services being provided after the estimated finish time of 2215 is severely limited, and should the concert overrun last trains may be missed. 

On Friday 5 June, the last trains to Swansea are:

Please note the last trains towards London and the West are:

Bath, Westbury: 2204
Weston and the South West: 2204
Bristol Parkway: 2125

One Saturday 6 June the last trains to Swansea are:

Fans are also warned to allow plenty of time for their journeys as a queueing will be in place at Cardiff station to help board trains safely.
 
The Manic Street Preachers are set to play a homecoming gig at Cardiff Castle on 5 June while One Direction will play at the Millennium Stadium on 5 and 6 June.
