Just the ticket for Countryfile Live 2018 fans

Great Western Railway has launched a new ticket for people wanting to travel to Countryfile Live 2018. The event is taking place in the grounds of the historic Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire from tomorrow (2 August 2018) until Sunday 5 August (inclusive).

Great Western Railway has launched a new ticket for people wanting to travel to Countryfile Live 2018. The event is taking place in the grounds of the historic Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire from tomorrow (2 August 2018) until Sunday 5 August (inclusive).

The special ticket will allow customers to travel by train to Oxford station and use either the 500, 7 or S3 bus services to Blenheim Palace on the same ticket. Customers wishing to travel from Oxford itself can buy a bus ticket and entry to the palace from GWR.


The combined train, bus and entry to Countryfile Live ticket will allow customers to save up to £90 depending on where they travel from, compared to purchasing tickets separately.

The Countryfile Live 2018 tickets can be purchased from ticket offices at any staffed station, on-board and from GWR telesales on 03457 000 125.

  • Bus services 7 and S3 are operated by Stagecoach in Oxfordshire. Bus service 500 is operated by Oxford Bus Company.
  • The Countryfile Live 2018 sold through GWR includes return train travel with return bus travel to and from Countryfile Live 2018 at Blenheim Palace. Prices vary depending on origin station.
  • Customers wishing to travel only by bus from Oxford can purchase a ticket for travel and event entry for £32.
